Systems Analyst (Cyprus, Limassol, on-site)

We are a product-driven FinTech Trading group developing our own trading platforms, services, and tools for the B2C market. We are not an outsourcing company: our engineering teams build and evolve products used within the group’s own business ecosystem.

We are now looking for a Systems Analyst to join a strong backend team working on the crypto-related direction within a trading platform. This is a new role for the team: there has not been a dedicated analyst here before, so we are looking for someone who can become the bridge between business, product, and engineering, help structure requirements, build a clear backlog, and gradually become the knowledge center for the product.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Systems Analyst who wants to go beyond processing ready-made tasks and is interested in deeply understanding the product, bringing structure to requirements, and helping shape the analytics function within a strong engineering team.

Cyprus, Limassol
Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clarify, and structure requirements from business stakeholders, product, and internal teams.
  • Break down complex tasks and work with the development team to maintain a clear and up-to-date backlog.
  • Prepare detailed requirements together with engineers, including business logic, integration scenarios, user flows, acceptance criteria, and technical details.
  • Participate in solution design together with the product owner, backend developers, and QA engineers.
  • Work with APIs, integrations, microservices, and backend product logic.
  • Take part in grooming sessions, planning, and team syncs.
  • Describe business processes and keep the knowledge base and documentation in Confluence up to date.
  • Collaborate closely with QA: help define acceptance criteria and elaborate user test cases.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst.
  • Experience working with backend teams, microservices, integrations, and APIs.
  • Ability to break down complex and ambiguous tasks into a clear and structured backlog.
  • Experience writing requirements in formats that are useful for engineering teams: user stories, use cases, API specifications, UML diagrams.
  • Understanding of REST API, JSON, and database fundamentals.
  • Ability to read API documentation and dive into technical details.
  • Experience working with incomplete requirements and high uncertainty.
  • Readiness to be the first analyst in the team and help establish analytical practices.
  • English level B1 or higher for living in Cyprus, reading documentation, and communicating with some colleagues.

Nice to have

  • Experience in FinTech, Trading, or related domains.
  • Understanding of blockchain / crypto infrastructure at a level sufficient to work with the product and technical team.
  • Experience in a mature product or big tech environment with strong engineering practices, architecture-oriented thinking, and high-quality requirements management.

Who will succeed in this role

We are looking for a structured, independent, and proactive analyst who does not wait for a ready-made specification but helps shape it. It is important to ask the right questions to business stakeholders, product, and engineers, speak the same language as the development team, and be ready to dive deeply into product details.

This role will be a good fit for someone who already has strong systems analysis experience and wants to take ownership of the analytical function within a team, not just execute predefined tasks.

Benefits:

  • A role in a product-driven FinTech Trading company developing its own platforms and services.
  • A strong engineering team with a backend focus, modern development practices, and a high level of technical expertise.
  • The opportunity to become the first Systems Analyst in the team and influence processes, documentation, and requirements management.
  • Official employment in Cyprus.
  • Relocation support, including entry work visa assistance, document support, and residence permit support after arrival.
  • Corporate accommodation for the first two weeks after relocation.
  • Relocation bonus.
  • Medical insurance for the employee and family, including dental coverage and extended options.
  • A stable, family-oriented company culture where people tend to stay long-term.
  • After successful probation, a hybrid work model with 1–2 remote days per week.
