We are Headshot Recruitment Agency, and our client is a well-established multi-asset brokerage, offering 7 asset classes and over 12,000 instruments for trading. The company has rapidly expanded across European markets, serving institutional and retail clients with high-performance trading solutions. Now, they are looking for an experienced System Administrator (DB) to join their growing tech team.

The role of System Administrator (DB) focuses on ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of high-load server and network infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on MySQL databases. The position involves proposing database enhancements, designing solutions, and managing data replication and recovery processes.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures the performance and security of high-load server and network systems
• Designs and implements database enhancements, including migration, replication, and new functionalities
• Oversees and optimizes data backup strategies to ensure reliability and quick recoverability
• Maintains databases, monitors alerts, and manages recovery processes, table space, and upgrades

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Linux OS (Debian, Ubuntu)
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with databases in large-scale environments
• Proficiency with MySQL (Percona, MariaDB); experience with Postgres or MongoDB is a plus
• Understanding of data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and SQL
• Experience with Ansible configuration management
• Open-minded, adaptable, and collaborative team player
