We are Headshot Recruitment Agency, and our client is seeking an experienced Senior PHP Developer to join a dynamic team focused on building scalable and high-performance solutions. This is an opportunity to work on meaningful business tasks with a modern tech stack and a team that values code quality, optimization, and testing culture.

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior PHP Developer with strong experience in backend development and a deep understanding of PHP performance, REST API design, and database optimization. You will work on both new features and the support of existing systems, contributing to the technical growth and stability of the product.

Responsibilities:

Develop new features and support existing business logic tasks
Perform PHP code profiling, performance optimization, and debugging
Write and maintain unit tests and API tests for high code reliability
Ensure adherence to REST API design standards and best practices
Collaborate with the team to improve backend architecture and codebase quality
Continuously monitor and improve system scalability and performance

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in PHP development
Strong understanding of REST API design and implementation
Hands-on experience with MySQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch
Ability and willingness to write unit and functional tests
Proven skills in debugging, profiling, and optimizing PHP code
Solid knowledge of data structures and when to use them
Bonus: experience in Go (Golang) development
Bonus: experience with microservices architecture
Education: relevant technical qualification or degree
Language proficiency: A2 level or higher
