We are Headshot Recruitment Agency, and our client is a fast-growing product company focused on building data-driven solutions. They are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their team and design scalable data infrastructure that powers business-critical decisions.

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with hands-on experience in designing and developing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and managing large datasets. The ideal candidate has strong experience with modern database systems, a solid grasp of data architecture, and a passion for solving complex technical challenges that directly impact product outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes to support internal data analytics and reporting.
• Build and maintain databases, with a strong understanding of both OLTP and OLAP architectures.
• Optimize data workflows to ensure reliable, accessible, and actionable data for product and analytics teams.
• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and product teams to align data infrastructure with business goals.
• Utilize tools like Apache Spark, Spark Streaming, Kafka, Airflow, and dbt for data transformation and pipeline orchestration.
• Implement data visualization solutions using modern BI tools.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a related role.
• Proficiency in database design and development.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with ClickHouse, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Knowledge of OLTP and OLAP architecture.
• Experience building and managing ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with data orchestration tools like Apache Spark, Kafka, Airflow, and dbt.
• English level A2+, Ukrainian – native speaker.
