Our client is an innovative platform for ordering medical tests online. They provide a convenient and accessible way for individuals to monitor their health, offering a wide range of laboratory tests delivered directly to their homes.

Now we are looking for a talented Senior Backend Developer to join our client team and contribute to improving the architecture and functionality of our platform.

You’ll have a great opportunity to grow into the company’s CTO, build a team, and focus on high-level tasks.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain a scalable backend using Node.js.
Integrate and optimize database operations with MongoDB, ensuring data security and performance.
Develop REST and GraphQL APIs to enable seamless interaction with the frontend (Next.js/Angular).
Enhance the code architecture and refactor existing solutions for better maintainability.
Implement and manage user authentication and authorization (OAuth, JWT).
Work with microservices and set up serverless functions (e.g., API Routes in Next.js).
Collaborate with the frontend team to ensure smooth API integration.
Optimize backend performance and address scalability challenges.
Configure monitoring, logging, and error diagnostics for server-side applications.

Requirements:

4+ years of experience in backend development with Node.js.
Strong expertise in Express or similar frameworks for Node.js.
Proficiency in MongoDB, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as Next.js or Angular for basic API interaction.
Hands-on experience in designing and building REST/GraphQL APIs.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Experience in healthcare-related projects or working with medical data.
