PSP Account Manager (Cyprus | Payments | Full-time)

We are Headshot Recruitment Agency, and our client — a fast-growing fintech/payments company with international operations — is hiring a PSP Account Manager to expand and optimize their global payment infrastructure.

The ideal candidate is curious, proactive, and deeply interested in payment flows, providers, and user conversion. Responsibilities:

Lead commercial negotiations with new and existing payment providers: fees, functionality, and integration terms
Manage the end-to-end PSP onboarding process: evaluation → negotiation → launch → performance review
Monitor performance of active payment channels: approval rates, chargebacks, error rates, downtime
Conduct payment flow analysis to uncover conversion bottlenecks and optimize performance by GEO and method
Work closely with cross-functional teams:
- Finance: reconciliation, cash flow, and accounting alignment
- Engineering: technical integration, troubleshooting, scaling
- Sales/Commercial: ensure PSPs align with business priorities and market demands
Prepare reporting and strategic recommendations on PSP performance, coverage, and innovation opportunities

Requirements:

1–3+ years of experience in payment operations, PSP account management, or fintech
Understanding of payment methods, acquiring flows, chargeback mechanics, and GEO-specific differences
Experience working with payment providers in Europe (strong advantage)
Comfortable negotiating technical and commercial terms with external partners
Analytical mindset with the ability to read, interpret, and act on performance data
Strong cross-functional communication skills
English fluency required; additional languages are a plus
Willingness to relocate to Cyprus (if not already based there)
