We are Headshot Recruitment Agency, and our client is a remote-first international game development company specializing in mobile 2D casual idle games for iOS and Android. The company manages the full development cycle in-house — from concept to release — and is known for its creative freedom, friendly team culture, and focus on innovation.

The team consists of professionals from countries like Ukraine, Cyprus, Latvia, Kazakhstan, and Indonesia, and operates with a flat, open structure where creativity and initiative are encouraged.

We are hiring a Motion Designer 2D Games Remote to join the company’s creative team. You’ll create stunning animations and high-impact video ads for casual 2D mobile games, as well as animate game elements like characters, UI, and interactive components. This is a hands-on role with full creative input, flexibility, and a focus on visually compelling storytelling.

Responsibilities:

• Design and animate eye-catching video creatives for user acquisition
• Animate game UI, characters, and elements for product needs
• Prepare structured animation-ready files for production
• Create briefs for illustrators and 2D artists based on scripts
• Produce resizes and localizations of high-performing creatives

Requirements:

• Proficient in After Effects, including use of Duik plugin
• Basic understanding of Spine animation tool
• Confident in Adobe Photoshop
• Experience creating marketing video creatives
• Ability to work independently and think creatively without rigid guidelines
• Portfolio of past motion work
• Willingness to complete a test assignment
• Enthusiasm to grow and learn within the role
