Middle+ Golang developer (Cyprus)

Our client, with its HQ in Cyprus, is a licensed stock broker providing access to real stock and ETF trading.

It was founded in 2013. They were honoured as the Safest European Broker by the London Trader Show Awards and were named ‘Best Stocks Broker (Europe)’ in the GF Awards – B2B category.

There are 160 employees and 8 dev teams located in Cyprus. Developers are really professional and ex-BigTech employees.

About the role

We are looking for a new developer to join a B2C cryptotrading team. It’s the newest product in the company (since 2021) and the guys decided to strengthen it.

The team consists of 7 people (manager, backend and frontend developers, QA) + DevOps and infrastructure engineers.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain Go-based microservices.
Write unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability.
Contribute to architectural design and code quality standards.
Maintain multiple on-prem blockchain clients (like Geth, Erigon, Nitro).
Ensure secure, resilient, and observable backend services.
Maintain up-to-date documentation for systems, code and APIs.
Analyze and improve service architecture and performance.

Tech stack

Golang, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, k8s, Prometheus.

Requirements:

We expect from you

4+ years of commercial experience with Golang (preferably in BigTech).
Solid understanding of microservice architecture.
Proficiency with gRPC, REST API, HTTP(s), and protobuf.
Experience with PostgreSQL and message brokers (RabbitMQ/Kafka)
Familiarity with Kubernetes and Linux-based environments.
Basic understanding of secure development practices.
English language at B1+ level, Russian — native.
Readiness for relocation to Cyprus.
