We are Headshot Recruitment Agency, and our client is expanding its performance marketing team with a strategic hire: a Google Ads Team Lead to oversee campaign strategy, team management, and large-scale execution across the Google ecosystem — including UAC, Search, and Display.

This is a hands-on leadership role for a data-driven marketer who knows how to test fast, scale smart, and drive results in complex, high-risk verticals such as crypto, fintech, and iGaming.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead all Google Ads activities: strategy, execution, and scaling across UAC, Search, and Display

  • Build, train, and manage a team of performance-focused media buyers

  • Own and manage ad budgets of $100K+/month, optimizing for CAC, ROI, and LTV

  • Design and implement testing frameworks, audience strategies, creatives, and LP variations

  • Collaborate with analytics, creatives, and development teams to align funnels and tracking

  • Oversee event tracking and postback setups via GTM, GA4, Appsflyer, or custom APIs

  • Proactively mitigate risk and ensure compliance while maximizing performance

  • Evaluate traffic sources, campaign health, and channel profitability on a weekly basis

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Google Ads, including UAC, Search, and Display

  • Track record of managing $100K+/month media budgets

  • Experience in lead-gen, affiliate, or product funnels — ideally in crypto, fintech, or iGaming

  • Comfortable with performance tracking tools (e.g. Binom, Keitaro, Appsflyer)

  • Knowledge of bans, cloaking, account warm-ups, and risk mitigation strategies

  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to make decisions based on real-time data

  • Team leadership experience — or strong readiness to step into a Team Lead role

  • English proficiency for remote collaboration with cross-functional teams

Nice to Have:

  • Experience building Google ad stacks or internal systems from scratch

  • Familiarity with Tier 3 markets, Asia, LATAM, or CIS

  • Ability to develop training materials and build high-performing internal media teams
