Is a FinTech project within an international holding company, licensed in Hong Kong as a Money Service Operator (MSO). The company is building a B2B cross-border payments platform focused on low-risk and middle-risk clients. The project is at the active launch stage with key functions being built from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

Communicate with Hong Kong regulatory authorities and manage regulatory filings
Prepare and submit compliance and regulatory reports
Support and develop AML / Compliance processes
Participate in setting up and configuring compliance modules on the platform
Draft, update, and maintain compliance documentation (policies, procedures, internal guidelines)
Support licensing and compliance activities with regulators
Coordinate with external legal and compliance consultants
Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance
Assist in building the compliance function from scratch with a clear growth path to Compliance Officer / MLRO and team development

Requirements:

3+ years in Compliance / AML / Regulatory roles
Practical experience working with Hong Kong regulators
Strong AML / KYC / Compliance knowledge
FinTech / banking / payments background is a strong plus
Chinese language (Mandarin or Cantonese) is preferred for regulator communication
English — working proficiency
Startup mindset and ability to take ownership of operational tasks
Proactive and structured thinker with a desire to build and scale functions
