Head Chef – Pan-Asian Cuisine (Relocation to Cyprus)

We are Headshot Recruitment Agency, and our client — a modern, international restaurant group with operations in 50+ countries — is looking for a Head Chef to lead the culinary team of a premium Pan-Asian concept in Cyprus. The company focuses on delivering consistent product quality, exceptional guest experience, and operational excellence. This is a high-visibility role for an experienced culinary leader who thrives in international, process-driven environments.

Responsibilities:

Organize and manage all kitchen operations, including scheduling, logistics, and hygiene
Plan, develop, and update restaurant menus, including seasonal and limited-time offers
Supervise and train kitchen staff, conduct onboarding and technical briefings
Maintain kitchen standards, recipe execution, and food presentation
Oversee FoodCost, inventory management, and ABC analysis
Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and labor regulations
Collaborate with purchasing and operations on supplier selection and control
Approve and maintain tech and cost calculation cards
Report performance and identify opportunities for process optimization

Requirements:

3+ years of experience as Head Chef in international or chain restaurant environments
Solid experience in Pan-Asian and Japanese cuisine – mandatory
Culinary education (diploma or certificate); advanced training is a plus
Strong operational knowledge: logistics, procurement, kitchen management
Proven ability to control FoodCost, inventory, and team productivity
Proficiency in kitchen hygiene standards, occupational safety, and compliance
Experience in team leadership and staff training
English level B2+ (written and spoken); Russian language is a plus
Willingness to relocate to Cyprus

Nice to Have

Experience in developing and launching new dishes or culinary formats
Background in upscale or branded restaurant chains (Pan-Asian segment)
Track record in cross-functional team collaboration (marketing, operations, supply chain)
