We are Headshot Recruitment Agency, and our client is a fast-growing restaurant chain expanding operations across Cyprus. With two existing locations in Limassol and two upcoming openings in Paphos, the company is set for ambitious growth. They are seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead the scaling of operations, enhance profitability, and ensure smooth processes across all locations.

The COO will be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies, building high-performing teams, and optimizing restaurant performance. This leadership role is crucial for driving the expansion of the chain, overseeing financial health, and maintaining operational excellence while ensuring compliance with all industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develops and implements a scalable management model to support multi-location growth
• Leads top-level restaurant staff, including managers, chefs, and support teams
• Oversees daily operations of existing locations and manages new restaurant openings
• Implements and optimizes iiko automation systems and trains managers on process improvements
• Manages P&L across locations and builds financial models for new projects, including forecasting, cost control, and pricing strategies
• Oversees financial performance, ensuring cost-efficiency and profitability
• Defines and tracks KPIs, conducts performance reviews, and optimizes operational processes
• Ensures compliance with HACCP standards, local regulations, and labor laws
• Recruits, trains, and develops leadership talent within restaurant management
• Establishes strong motivation programs to drive team performance and satisfaction

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a COO or senior operations role within a multi-unit restaurant chain
• Background in fast-casual, casual dining, take-away, or delivery models
• Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or Economics is preferred
• Deep understanding of P&L management, budgeting, KPI optimization, and cost control
• Proficiency with iiko, CRM systems, restaurant automation, and supply chain logistics
• Proven track record of leading teams, scaling businesses, and driving growth strategies
• Fluent English (B2+), Russian language is a plus
• Preferred background includes roles at Secret Kitchen, Важная Рыба, Subzero, or similar high-growth restaurant brands
