We are Headshot Recruitment Agency, and our client is a fast-growing fintech company developing high-risk payment solutions for international businesses. They offer instant, secure, and technologically advanced services tailored to each partner’s commercial and technical requirements.

To support the company’s expansion, we are looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join the leadership team.

Our client is a young and dynamic company operating in the high-risk payment industry. Their mission is to deliver seamless payment solutions that combine speed, security, and advanced technology. The company operates across Russia, CIS, Asia, and Europe.

Responsibilities:

Oversee merchant relations and external partnerships
Drive business process optimization and automation
Lead and execute strategic initiatives and innovations
Ensure strong compliance with KYC/AML and regulatory frameworks
Manage the technical operations side: licensing, legal documentation, and regulatory filings
Oversee reporting, business metrics, and operational analytics
Collaborate with technical, legal, and compliance teams
Represent the company in key partner negotiations and external communications

Requirements:

3–5+ years of experience in COO / Head of Operations roles within high-risk industries (e.g., payments, gambling, casinos)
Deep understanding of payment infrastructure: acquiring, PSP, processing, compliance
Knowledge of the specifics and challenges of high-risk environments
Proven experience building and scaling operations from scratch
Familiarity with international licensing and regulatory requirements
Strong leadership, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Fluent in Russian; English at Upper-Intermediate+ level
