Chief Executive Officer (CEO) | D2C Hardware Brand

We are Headshot Recruitment Agency, and our client is a fast-scaling direct-to-consumer (D2C) hardware brand, engineering and producing three premium product lines: red light therapy devices, blue light blocking glasses, and blue light free lighting solutions. With manufacturing in China and global sales through Shopify stores in the USA, UK, Australia, and New Zealand, the company has reached $17M in sales in 2024 with outstanding performance metrics: ROAS 10+ and 40% net income margin. The team includes 13 people (primarily customer support across AU, NZ, and the Philippines), while marketing is managed by external agencies.

The company is now looking for a visionary CEO to lead its operations and accelerate growth while maintaining exceptional profitability

As CEO, you will take full operational ownership of the company, drive business growth, oversee financial health, and build a high-performing team structure. With a solid foundation and proven market success, the company is ready to expand its reach, explore new territories, and optimize internal processes under your leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Leads overall operations, including team reorganization, hiring, and scaling company functions as needed
• Oversees and manages full P&L ownership, focusing on revenue growth and maintaining strong profitability
• Builds and nurtures high-performance teams, aligning them with strategic goals
• Evaluates and explores new sales channels such as B2B partnerships, distributors, and physical retail presence
• Identifies expansion opportunities in MENA, Asia, and other untapped markets
• Collaborates with external marketing agencies to sustain and improve ROAS and conversion rates
• Drives strategic planning, market expansion, and operational excellence
• Maintains a sharp focus on unit economics, scalability, and process optimization

Requirements:

• Proven CEO or senior executive experience in the D2C hardware sector
• Strong background in direct-to-consumer models, preferably Shopify-based operations
• Experience with B2B sales, distribution channels, and/or retail expansion is a plus
• Understanding of global supply chains, especially with manufacturing in China
• Experience working with international markets, with a focus on MENA and Asia as advantages
• Fluent English is a must
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and financial management skills
• Ability to drive growth while safeguarding high profit margins
