Business Development Manager (Sales)

We are Headshot Recruitment Agency, and our client is a cutting-edge payment solutions provider for a wide range of industries — from traditional e-commerce to high-risk verticals such as gambling, betting, crypto, trading, and forex.

The company is known for thriving in challenging environments and scaling growth efforts with precision and impact. They are now seeking a Business Development Manager with proven sales experience in B2B fintech, SaaS, or high-risk markets to drive deal flow and strategic growth.

This role blends active sales outreach, strategic partnership building, and full-cycle B2B deal ownership. You will work closely with internal teams across legal, tech, product, and marketing to close high-value clients.

The ideal candidate is a high-performing self-starter who combines strategic thinking with hands-on sales execution.

Responsibilities:

• Meet and exceed quarterly/annual personal sales targets
• Own the entire business development & sales cycle, from research to deal closure
• Identify, qualify, and reach out to valuable prospects and decision-makers
• Conduct needs discovery, pitch tailored payment solutions, and negotiate commercial terms
• Collaborate with Legal, Product, Tech Support, Marketing, and Analytics teams during presale and onboarding
• Present proposals, negotiate pricing and non-standard contract terms
• Oversee post-sale engagement, ensuring a smooth handoff and long-term client success
• Maintain CRM discipline, follow up consistently, and contribute to forecasting and pipeline reporting
• Actively participate in upsell and cross-sell opportunities

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience in business development or sales in Fintech, SaaS, or high-risk sectors (crypto, forex, gambling, betting, trading)
• Proven ability to own the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, pitching, closing
• Strategic and hands-on: comfortable doing outreach, closing deals, and leading conversations
• Experience working in independent sales roles with KPIs and ownership
• Strong understanding of B2B sales metrics, client segmentation, and conversion flows
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
English proficiency (B2+) — additional languages are a plus
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to work without micromanagement
