Business Development Manager – CIS Market | i-CON

We are Headshot Recruitment Agency, and our client i-CON is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to focus on the CIS market and drive strategic growth across their international events. i-CON is a dynamic conference brand with a strong emphasis on innovation, partnerships, and high-quality event execution across the iGaming and tech industries.

We are looking for a motivated and relationship-oriented Business Development Manager who will be responsible for generating leads, expanding the exhibitor and sponsor base, and supporting event operations through strong cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate has excellent sales and presentation skills, industry awareness, and the ability to manage fast-paced projects with attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for generating leads, securing attendees, and attracting sponsors and exhibitors for i-CON events
• Builds and nurtures client relationships to support revenue growth and long-term brand loyalty
• Arranges and attends external meetings to drive sales and support event operations
• Analyzes market data to identify opportunities and proposes strategic improvements
• Conducts ongoing competitor analysis to keep offerings competitive and relevant
• Identifies innovative concepts and trends within the global conference industry
• Participates in the creative process and content development for all events
• Collaborates closely with designers and developers to ensure the delivery of high-quality event materials
• Works cross-functionally with internal departments to maintain seamless event execution
• Attends international conferences as needed to support business development

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business Studies, Public Relations, Communications, or another related field
• 1 to 3 years of professional experience in business development, event sales, or a related area
• Excellent command of Russian and English (verbal and written); knowledge of other languages is considered a plus
• Strong sales and communication skills with a results-driven mindset and commitment to quality
• Outstanding presentation and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• High level of adaptability and ability to manage urgent tasks and fast-changing business dynamics
